Troutbriar is Dawnclan's Deputy. Her faithfulness in her clanmates and her bravery landed her the position at a young age. While her clan leader, Nightstar, is a quiet and calm cat Troutbriar refuses to spend a second in silence. Silence means thinking and thinking takes Troutbriar to places she'd rather avoid going to. Troutbriar was born in a twoleg home but was then brought to Dawnclan as a kit after being abandoned by her twolegs. She always wondered why the twolegs never wanted her. Was she not enough? As much as she pretends her past is behind her she knows it tries to climb its way back up, yet she keeps burying it further down. The abandonment made Troutbriar need constant company from her clanmates, and she was a faithful and loyal friend to them in turn. Some cats are worried about the glances she sends to the clan's medicine cat Shadowface. In the winter, when it's cold, she can be seen sometimes sneaking her way into the medicine cat's den when no one's in there, although no one has brought it up yet. Troutbriar loves napping in the warm weather (with other cats around of course) and she finds the most comfort in the clan's medicine cat, Shadowface. Swimming is an activity that Troutbriar often finds calming, and does it when the weather is warmer. |
