Natsuki's twin sister. She's the more cautious one of the two and I love her so much??

I always call Mai a golden mother hen or a peep

(Which is hilarious because she dislikes both birds and marshmallows)

She is the very thing she fears--

Her biggest goal in life is to marry and have lots of children in a big happy family. She is the most maternal creature I have ever seen.

Mai can play piano and she's a fainter

She has a picture of Beethoven in a locket (Steph said this to me after I made a joke about Mai having a poster of Beethoven and apologizing to it like that Dexter meme omg)

Mai is always looking out for Natsuki and wanting the best for her. In one verse Mai is always trying to point out suitors for Natsuki like: 'Look sister, that person is very interested in you and comes from a respectable family. You should give him a chance.'

And Natsuki, who has other priorities is just like omg Mai plz stahp

Mai has to hold every baby she sees.

And in any verse where Natsuki gets married, Mai is like: 'OKAY BUT WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO MAKE ME AN AUNT?'

Mai is the baby expert and people come to her for advice and for babysitting

Mai is pretty protective of Natsuki and will let her know if she doesn't approve of something she's doing lol
