Confident • Adventurous • Gentle
Sundial is an extremely confident Autobot, and rightfully so. Sundial is instinctively calculated, And is always the first to know when someone is acting strange. He's never impulsive, which can sometimes be his downfall. He, ontop of this, isn't very fast. Although his smarts more than make up for it at base, in battle he tends to avoid any stressful encounters.
Sundial tends to avoid conflict with other Autobots, although he isn't afraid to speak his mind on stupid orders. He's also commonly rivaling smokescreen as the tactician, sighting his past failures, although this has never really gone anywhere, and they're still friends.

- He's one of few maximals who can scan animals in a certain area to match their colors, although as a raccoon it isn't very useful.
- He was given the title of "Honorary Autobot" by Jazz.
- He doesn't have eyes under his visor
- The ears on his head are fake, he can't hear through them. Although weirdly they still emote.
Sundial met Maverick when the war first started, and immediately saved him from being shot. After that Sundial stuck around to make sure he didnt die, and they ended up becoming friends.
Heliclash was the first to welcome Sundial to the Autobots, although Sundial found it weird there was a kid on base at all, he still appreciated it.
After Sundial was captured by the quintessons, he was sold off to the decepticons as ransom to the Autobots. To avoid optimus saving him, he was placed on a decepticon owned Planet off cybertron, holding him captive among nothing but cons. Almost 6 months into his capture, however, he was freed by a kind neutral (Roulette), and returned to the autobot HQ safely.
