Liliette

Liliette is a living doll created by a man grieving the loss of his daughter. Initially, he tried to resurrect his daughter. When that didn't work, he decided to make a doll resembling her, to serve as something of a "replacement".

Liliette spent her days happily with her father. One day, he left, telling her he would be back soon, and that she shouldn't leave the house while he's gone. 

Now, Liliette patiently waits for her father to return to her. Many years have passed, but this living doll still believes her father will return, and dutifully takes care of their home while she waits.

• She can eat and drink, though she doesn't need to do so to live.
