Zypher

        Zypher is a faerie who has lost his purpose; whose take on life is rather... Pessimistic and morbid. He belonged to a group of faeries who would guide the lost to safety, until the day they were attacked and most (if not all aside from him) of his group was slaughtered. He was injured in the attack and (again) most if not all of those they had been guiding died as well. It traumatized him and he fell into despair (depression), eventually finding himself turning to a bottle to ease the pain of it all.
