Dude is a kindly and unassuming bobcat. He is simple in his actions and in his mannerisms, rarely doing anything most would consider extreme or surprising. He lives his life with a sense of calm, never in a hurry to get to anything nor late along his ways. He is calm, chill, and generally takes the world as it comes. He tends to be neutral in mannerism. He is generally happy any relaxed, and is never really angered by the world.

Dude is not an intelligent bobcat, but what he lacks in smarts, he makes up for in heart. He is a big heart for the world, and is always open to providing help and care to those who need it. The center of his life are his turkeys, who are his pride and joy. He loves them like his own family, and is heartbroken whenever he must finally send a batch to be processed for consumption. Dude is so empathetic to the birds then he cannot eat his own stock; and as much as he enjoys the taste of turkey, could never taste a turkey he loved so much.

Dudes takes like as it comes. Though he was never strong in school, he is people-smart, knowing what to say to help those around him. He is cheerful and bright, though never in a pushy way. He loves puns and to joke around as he gets the chance, and is pretty impervious to the opinions of others-- especially that of those who dislike his puns. Even when confronted, it is next to impossible to get Dude riled up or upset. He does tend to generally be guilty of something in his absentmindedness, such as returning empty milk bottles to the fridge or accidentally walking out of the store without paying because he forgot. When these sorts of things happen, he apologizes profusely and feels truly guilty, though most don't stay angry with him for long.

Dude can be oblivious to anger or attack directed at him, and will just respond in earnest, never knowing if he is danger. He is quite philosophical even if he doesn't have the intelligence for much of it, though at times he seems to come up with deep philosophical ideas seemingly randomly, as though he stumbled across an open textbook and read whatever he saw on the page. He is quite clumsy and likes to make a show of hiding it, claimed his saw a penny on the ground or tripped over some invisible object. He often misses key points of logic such a basic physics.

Dude was raised on the farm where he now lives. Contrary to many, he didn't grow up planning to pursue some big unbelievable dream or travel to remote corners of the globe-- all he ever wanted was to be a turkey farmer, just like his parents. Though they tried to point him down other paths so he could explore more in life, he was always quiet certain that all he wanted in life was to raise the turkeys he loved so much. Though the process of getting them ready to be sold never appealed to him, he learned their ways, following them around the farm for most of his youth. Eventually, when he was older, he was given his own flock to turkeys to raise, and devoted his every minute to making certain they were well cared for. Over the years, he became more talented raising the birds, and his parents retired, turning the farm over to their son.

Even now, Dude would never ask for another life. He loves the turkeys, and feels a great sense of honor at being granted the opportunity to take over the family farm. He couldn't imagine trading his world for another, and is glad for all he has gotten. He is content to stay where he is with his life and his turkeys, and hopes he may one day have a family of his own.
