The word "Gomobara", come from the sentence, ゴムのバラ (Gomu no bara), which means "Rubber Rose", which comes from the world "Rubberhose", which resembles what them being based on 1930s Rubberhose cartoons, and Rose because of the plant they're based on.
Description
This is Red Vio- I mean Rosie.
An energetic, optimistic, and outgoing “La dee daa” flower girl who likes to have fun and make new friends.
Though unlike Via, Rose more extroverted and sportier.
The “ladeda” positive energetic flower who sees the bright side of things, even in the very dark times… sometimes. She likes to make friends and welcome new people… a creature in general with open arms and a freaking smile on her adorable face. She’s always the weird oddball that randomly does s-s-stuff and a random moment at a random time, not really that bright, but Violet and her friends still appreciate her for trying.
Like her sister Violet, they look, play, and act familiar. But Unlike Via, who’s more sophisticated and calmer, and more mature, Red Flo- I mean Rosie acts childish and more energetic (Kind of like Rosie is Pinkie Pie to which Violet is Rarity. Or Violet’s Yin from “Yin Yang Yo” to Rosie’s Yang… Also, from “Yin Yang Yo”), and she's also more extroverted and sportier. Though Violet sometimes enjoys Rosie and her silliness and joins in, and to be honest, they’re freaking inseparable! Can explain why it’s kind of hard figuring them apart, which ones which? Also don’t try to separate Violet from Rosie, she’ll go… insane! But she likes to hug you though!
History
As far as we’ve known, Violet and Rosie are the third oldest of the Mayeflowe family, They were both born on May 5th. However, Rosie was born at 4 P.M. her sister Violet was born at 4 A.M, So, Rosie’s red dot cheeks represent the sun, while her sisters purple Dot Cheeks represent the moon. Rosie has 3 sisters including Violet and 3 Brothers. They’re all born and raise in the Green Gem/Emerald Sekai in the Sozo Realm. Their parents are Rosetta Mayeflowe who’s their mother, and Flameco Mayaflowe, who’s their father.

- She and Violet are based on Minnie Mouse From The Mickey Mouse Cartoons 2013, mixed with Cagney Carnation from Cuphead, and Spinel from Steven Universe
- She and Violet also have some character traits from 1930s Characters
- She was actually going to be a secondary character along with Violet, but RRH decide to choose them to be the main characters.
- Rosie was born at 4PM, while Violet was born at 4AM
- Rosie's Japanese name "Akuhina" comes from the word "Akai Hanabira" or red petals in Japanese, similar to Violet's japanese, seemly because they're both twins
