Kind of a creepy guy who isn't going to share his job description. Just saying that songrems shouldn't invoke a vigilante justice moment. He isn't all bad however as he does care deeply for his adopted son and would probably be beyond hurt if he ever found out about his dad's work.

Keres sat with the other in a curious silence. He had never attended one of these celebrations before but his boy had begged to go this year. From the dances to the snacks and various games the songrem was starting to feel a bit overwhelmed. Choosing to stay with the small story telling group he now resided with. They all took turns telling their tales and adventures until Keres realized they had all turned their attention towards himself "What about you stranger? Got any stories you'd like to share?"

Keres actually had to think for a moment. No way was he telling a multitude of things but it would probably seem weird that he joined the group only to not participate "Ah well. I-"

"DAAAD!"

Jolting slightly as the purple ball of fur known as his son latched himself onto his shoulder Keres managed to only create a quiet "oof."

Glancing over at Asrail he noticed a few ribbons stuck to the boys fur and a shiny crown perched on his his head. "What have you got there?" and then grabbing at his chance to change the subject "Wait, wait. How about you share with the group? This seems like an interesting tale."

Keres felt his grin turn more gentle as his son exclaimed how he was just trying to get to the snack table and had tripped. Ending up tangling himself in the ribbon decorations and while trying to untangle himself had apparently won some kind of dance prize, gesturing towards his crown. Asrail had continued on, not seeming quite for once. By the time he got into his murder mystery tale Keres felt his eyes growing heavy and eventually nodded off. Being in such a large gathering is tiring shhhh let the man sleep, he feels that his son is safe.

For Keres it happens to be a pair of leather gloves. When the weather starts getting warmer the songrem can be found outside working with his rose bushes and these gloves keep his hands thorn free. They also work as great grips when he needs to use the shovel or garden shears to prune and plant new bushes around the home. To keep the dirt off his fur Keres also uses a garden apron to kneel on while close to the damp earth.
