About

Personality

A fan of pranks and snooping, Takato is what one could call a delinquent, almost. He likes stupid jokes and messing around with his childhood friends, Ayumi and Astriel, and is rarely seen without them. He frequently gets into trouble, but always manages to skip detention without the teacher noticing due to Ayumi's quirk. He likes shiny and interesting objects, and his room glitters with strange trinkets he's collected over the years (Ayumi jokes it's like a dragon's lair, since Takato has a fascination with them as well). He generally knows everything there is to know about everyone around him, because of his quirk, and has a small side business of selling information for the right price (money is accepted, but shiny things and snacks are preferred). He will not, however, sell any information that would harm a person's reputation if they don't deserve it, or that would put someone in physical danger. His goal is to become a recon hero and work with his friends, so he can help the front line heroes from the shadows.

Quirk

Free Radio. It allows Takato to "see" and intercept radio waves (this includes things like radio frequencies, cell phone signals, etc.). He can then eavesdrop on the transmission itself, meaning he can hear a conversation between two people on the phone or even pick up his favorite radio station. His range depends on the type of wave being transmitted (widely-broadcast radio stations, for example, are easier to pick up on than a short-range, two-way radio), but generally Takato needs to be within 300 feet of the transmitting device. Cons of his quirk are that if there's too much "traffic", the signals can become overwhelming and he may become unable to block them all out, resulting in headaches and loss of concentration. If he uses his quirk too much, he may also start to experience symptoms of electromagnetic radiation (insomnia, migraines, fatigue, dizziness, etc.) and must go at least a week without using his quirk in order to fully recover. When Takato uses his quirk continuously within a short period of time, sparks start to crackle between his horns, as they are his "receptors". He thinks it's very cool, but it also creates a buildup of static electricity, so touching anything or anyone while this is happening will result in a nasty shock.
