Build Slight muscle gained from hard labour, shoulders broader than hips.
Thick thighs
Voice His accent is strange. It's immediately recognisable as something from the Old Empires, but not fully. As he travels, his accent and manner of speaking changes and grows.
Face Shape Long, angular. Slight brow ridge. Straight nose w/flatter tip.
Skin Warm dark grey.
Eyes Pearlescent (no iris or pupil).
Hair Dull blue + shoulder-length. Usually wears it half up.
Scars Many--see ref for details!
The ones usually visible are the two on the left side of his face and the 'X'-shaped one on his tail.

「Personality」
Hasim is chaotic in more ways than one, and sometimes even seems to dip into bouts of evil, but overall, he's really not that bad. He's friendly unless given a reason not to be and is rather excitable. He doesn't trust easily, but that doesn't stop him from getting friendly with just about everyone--but one wrong move and he'll kill you just as quick. He's a "stab now, ask questions later" kind of guy and delights in burning people alive a little too much.
If he does come to care about people, he'd do almost anything for them as long as it didn't put him at risk for death--He's been through a lot and nothing is going to put him down that easily. Hasim also thinks a bit highly of himself for spitting in the face of rich bastards as he rose to freedom, and likes to consider himself a hero to the people he's pulled out of similar situations.
If he does come to care about people, he'd do almost anything for them as long as it didn't put him at risk for death--He's been through a lot and nothing is going to put him down that easily. Hasim also thinks a bit highly of himself for spitting in the face of rich bastards as he rose to freedom, and likes to consider himself a hero to the people he's pulled out of similar situations.

Morality Having been locked up and hidden away, and then kept as a slave for the better part of his life, Hasim believes in freedom above all else. He dislikes authority and resents strict law--nothing can keep him down! He does as his heart dictates, whatever it may tell him and despite what may be percieved as good or bad. He is free from restrictions, as far as he's concerned. He won't necessarily harm something or someone for no reason, but also doesn't have any qualms about doing it when there is some reason behind it, even if flimsy.
Most of his life is lived out of spite; however, he will almost always come to the aid of other plane-touched or other slaves (or anyone on that level), and that's the most sympathetic thing he's prone to doing.
Savvies/Ineptitudes Lucky with dice, stands out all the time.

They didn't want a cursed son, and felt he was a disgrace to their bloodline (and often fought over whose side had the tainted blood in the first place). Anyone who had come in contact with the newborn was sworn to secrecy, and to everyone else, the "unlucky" parents explained their child had died during birth. They hid the poor kid away and pretended he never existed, hardly bothering to feed him or take care of him, often hurting him if he left a certain part of their home in fear someone might see him.
They eventually tried for a second child, and by the time their new human child was born, Hasim was old enough to be sold into slavery. And so he was, sent off to serve the temples and whoever rented him. He served a temple of Hathor, and thus grew up learning her teachings of nurture and helping those in need, and though it did not stop him from developing spite for his society, his parents, and his life, it did help ease it. Secretly, as an angry teenager, Hasim began to pray to Set, finding solace in an outcast among gods, though he was never inherently evil himself.
As he neared adulthood, he realised that he couldn't do this for the rest of his life--or for however long it took the humans to set him free of their own accord--so he came up with a plan to run away. And succeeded.
As a runaway slave, Hasim took others with him, smuggling them to safer borders until slvery in Mulhorand was finally abolished--and then he began his own adventure. He was free and excited, and when he heard of pirates looking for some new crew, he quickly signed on for the thrill and the travel. He was well-liked within the crew and thus stuck around for quite a while.
His original "name" was Baeyich (Bye-Yech), from the word "vile." He used "Baey" as a nickname until he left Mulhorand and gave himself a new name--Hasim (derived from a word meaning "to sever, to finish, to decide").
