Hoopoe/Thylacine Sphinx

Sphinx were venerated by people of the land, but over time their populations declined (mostly due to hunting) and their worshippers fell into obscurity. There are a few remaining covens of sphinx worshippers, tight-knit and secretive. Junaveedi was orphaned in his youth, and lives a solitary and nomadic life on the fringes of civilization.

• Solitary, wary of humans. lives alone in a mountain cave/grotto system, among the ruins of a small temple
• Has a human lover. The man was sent to hunt and find evidence of his existence; Instead of trapping Juna, he brings offerings to the cave to learn more about him, and finally they become friends
• Lays eggies
• Collects trinkets; bones, feathers, fabric scraps. Makes masks out these trinkets. His cave is filled of many of them.
