The Chalon family is old money, and old royalty in Spire. Their bloodline was closely mingled with that of the Kings and Queens, and there have often been talks of merging the bloodlines oncemore. However Dove doesn't much care for any of that. She is still wild at heart, but her wildness is edged with cruelty and darkness. She is quick to have a double-edged word, often dropping compliments that are also insults. She is a force of nature, doing as she wills when she wills it. It wouldn't be surprising if she, despite being the elder, was passed over in favor of her younger sister inheriting the family name and fortunes.
