She has a habit of turning her nose up at anyone who cant fly. Unicorns seem to be on equal footing as they can do magic, but earth ponies are useless. She even goes as far as to pity the poor things. At times she can even get snarky with some over what she can do and they cant.

Everyone had always wondered what would happen if a reflected child were to be caught in the gaze of the mirror. The question was answered when Appledash and her long time friend, Endless Knight, got flashed by the cursed mirror. Not one egg, but two was left behind with the magical mixture of the two. Endless was a little more than stunned. A self proclaimed and somewhat shameless Ladies' Stallion, he was now the proud ...father of two!? Was he even considered a father? For a stallion who had little to no long term commitment to anything but Princess Luna's gaurd, being responsible for foals was a little more than the big stallion could handle. He fainted. Appledash was at a loss for words, but only for a moment. She shouted out to Dash in excitement, "Hey look, that one has wings!" Marathon turned out to be less of a speed demon and more of a long distance flyer, hence her name. She could fly for hours. When everyone else's wings gave out from exhaustion, she would still be going. She has a dislike for the ground, and never touches a hoof on it if she can help it. She will always hover just above it. She is a true pegasus and it was decided that Rainbow would take her to grow up in Cloudsdale.
