A Highland cow, without magic but aspiring to be able to match the amazing feats of mages. Elene spends her time busying about the manor of the Mythwyr and in the markets procuring fresh goods to practice her cooking. Libraries are often a frequent stop of hers, where she favors books of romance and fantasy. Can be rather flirtatious if it benefits her, and often appears to either not be listening or easily distracted. Does not like discussion of politics, and may not even appear to be of a noble house sans her rich clothing and soft hands. Personality

Compassionate, Cheerful, Educated, Forgiving, Absentminded, Deceptive, Emotional, Airy, Decadent, Distractable Elene is outwardly known to be friendly, bubbly, and a bit airy, her expression often of lack of thought as she daydreams constantly about wants and such. She is well educated and spoken, her words attributed to her rich upbringing as the daughter of wealthy land Barons, should her attention be grabbed. She is forgiving of most slights and often this is in her detriment. When betrayed or truly bothered she reacts with outburst of crying and melancholy, but often can be distracted easily or redirected from such thoughts. Perhaps to hide her embarrassment she often feigns any issue, and can be a bit conniving to get some of her petty goals accomplished. 123 wc

History

Oldest Daughter of the Guinevenn family, a grouping of wealthy land owners, running both an agriculture empire and trade of leathers and farmed goods. While not having experience in farming herself, she is knowledgeable of plants, animals, and the business, though her father made alliances with the Mythwyr early on in exchange for tools and transport of goods. At the age of 18 she was betrothed to the Mythwyr youngest son, Yorro to form an alliance between the families and to produce heirs for the Guinevenn. This arrangement seemed to benefit the family greatly as their exports reached a wider audience and it gave the Mythwyr a legal front to launder their funds and act as the honest group. Elene had some complaints about marrying a stranger initially, but for lack of options in her home of Skystead that suited her rich tastes she opted to visit Faline to meet her betrothed. The pair seemed at general odds for much of their initial years of companionship, Yorro often missing from the manor leaving the young woman to her devices, though she delighted in the times he was present to shower her with attention, genuine or not. It had been clear that he didn’t seem interested in her, and their relationship became more like close friends than anything, with Elene seeing the darker side of the family. Being a non-mage there was little she saw to do about the troubles at her new home, and instead she acted as a person of support for her hapless fiancé. Now nearly 10 years later, she’d grown rather comfortable to the dealings of the family, more privy to their secrets but unaware of the ill intent the head of the house intended for her own family. She’d yet to officially marry, the mere engagement to the youngest son being satisfactory to both parties for their own intentions, though she still hopes to have a family of her own. 324 wc
