Ferrous

The fire elemental collection grows! Latest dnd character, 5E fighter. He/They, mid 20s.

His backstory is a mishmash of all the fighter backgrounds involving a tyrant, so basically he helped a rebellion in his village by stealing weapons and teaching people how to use them. In order to try to stop the rebellion, the tyrant erased their memory. He didn't do a very good job though, because while he took out names, he left in faces and how places look. Ferrous knows they need to get back so they've been sort of wandering around, looking.

Technically he's supposed to be brash and confident but I don't really play him that way because I'm not used to it. An inworld justification for it is that their personality changed when their memory got erased. That probably gives me enough time to work up my confidence lol

He has horns and a tail but I do a lot of bust shots so sometimes the tail just gets straight up forgotten lol. Ferrous has also made an appearance in a oneshot, about a decade in the future. That design has longer, thinner horns and a shorter flame (the icon image is from before I decided which version had bigger flames and which had shorter. The younger version has long flames to signal that he's still growing and is magically volatile still.

You'll see me reference SilverSkye13's Casting Rain art a lot for him! They've been a huge inspiration to me overall and on top of it they figured out how to draw chainmail that doesn't look bizzare or take up a lot of time to draw! Also Ferrous is very. Wartime Grillby looking, but that's completely on accident.
