- Phirom - 1. Means "delighted" or "satisfying" in Thai, 2. "Phi" refers to the Greek letter (ϕ), which represents a bunch of science things but the one I was thinking was the golden ratio.
- Vaarin - From the Finnish "väärin," meaning "wrong."
- Ethereous - 1. Ethereal, 2. Relating to ether, an extremely flammable, volatile, and sweet-smelling chemical.
Sirius - The Dog Star, and the brightest star in the night sky.

DEMEANOR
Phirom is very sociable, confident, and chipper. He's not one to keep his emotions hidden - if he's got an opinion, he's certain to tell everyone about it. Everything he feels, be it love or hate, he feels with his whole heart. Of course, this doesn't mean he's open and honest: far from it. But we'll get to that.
He is very curious and loves learning new things, in fact, he has rather a reputation as a disperser of fun facts. Being so easily bored, he's always on the hunt for new, interesting knowledge.

Phirom is never satisfied in his current state, he always thinks others' situations are more fun/interesting/etc. This is why he idealises the past and thinks the future will be great, no matter what - if it's not here and now, it's good. This is also why he dislikes water and is very interested in humanity.

Phirom's greatest fear is coming off as vulnerable. As a violetblood, he's almost always had the upper hand societally and so doesn't know what to do with himself when he doesn't.
CONTROL
Because of this fear of vulnerability, it is incredibly important to Phirom how he is percieved by others, and he is obsessed with controlling this image. He wants to come off as confident, charming, cheerful, and witty but, more importantly, doesn’t want to come off as weak and soft. He must always know everything about himself, so he can control it.
PERSISTENCE
In reality he is, of course, pretty insecure, envious, and also a huge nerd. He’s always seeing how he can improve, not as a person morally but to be more likeable and interesting. His tendency to bounce back from failures and see them as opportunities to improve is a good thing, it’s just directed to the wrong ends.
LONLINESS
This all, obviously, makes him feel so lonely. Because he can never act genuine, no connections he makes with others are ever genuine. What he wants most of all is to trust someone enough to “be himself” around them - but that’ll never happen at this rate because he doesn’t Allow himself to trust anyone, which he doesn’t want to admit.

GODTEIR - WITCH OF HEART
A Witch of Heart literally means "One who manipulates the self/soul," and what would be more fitting for one so focused on controlling others' feelings as Phirom. With nearly total control of what others feel and how strongly, the concept of ones self is entirely in his hands.
Where Phirom struggles is with his priorities. Rather than making people happy, his goal in his manipulations is always to make himself seem more fun, more charming, more interesting - anything that means he'll be admired. And this leads him to having a rather fractured sense of self. To truly ascend to the Witch of Heart, Phirom must overcome this.
Strife Specibus - UMBRELLAKIND
Though he's tried real swords, Phirom reckons there's nothing more fun than play-swordfighting with a long umbrella - it's got such a weight to it, as well as the pleasant nostalgia. Not only that, but it can keep him from getting wet!
His go-to umbrella has had its tip removed and he keeps it very sharp. A bit like a bayonet, except theres no gun and it's infinitely less convenient.
