Luna Voice HC: Fluttershy (MLP)

Soleil and Luna, better known by their stagenames "Hokey" and "Pokey", are a pair of giantesses from the ettin subspecies. Unlike standard giants, ettin more often than not display polycephaly; typically, their two heads work in tandem quite well even when faced with clashing personalities. In the giant community, ettin are always considered twins, whether they are identical or not. True to giant their heritage, Soleil and Luna stand at roughly 9 ft tall, give or take an inch.

Soleil and Luna's names were given to them in accordance to their appearance; Soleil's long, curly hair is golden blonde, whereas Luna's is jet black. The two share the same royal blue eyes, however.

While on the job, Soleil and Luna wear a blue and gold pierrot inpsired uniform, complete with a ruffled collar. Their footwear resembles those of a jester, with the toe curled slightly upwards. Soleil's face paint resembles that of a traditional clown's, while Luna's is more akin to a mime's or pierrot's.

Design Notes

• Luna's eyebrows are painted on; when they are not wearing makeup, they have no visible brows.
• Soleil's nails are painted yellow. Luna's are painted black.
• Soleil has dimples, while Luna has a beauty mark under their left eye.

Contrary to what is typical for ettin, Soleil and Luna do not get along very well; or, more specifically, Soleil is guilty of bullying Luna quite often. This has been the norm since the two were young; Soleil is naturally more dominant than her sister, and a narcissist looking to overshadow Luna in any way she can. Soleil almost always taking charge of conversations and speaking on behalf of them both. Luna rarely, if ever, contributes unless specifically spoken to, leading many to presume that they are simply shy and quiet. This is partially what inspired Luna's mime makeup.

Soleil is jealous by nature, and dislikes when others speak specifically to Luna. This due in part to her own desire for attention, but also because she feels a sense of possessiveness over Luna; them having any free reign is a source of irritation for their sister.

Additionally, Soleil often makes demands of Luna, expecting them to follow without question; this is evident in their stand up routines, as nearly every joke was penned by Soleil with little to no input from Luna. If their performance does not go perfectly, Soleil often will make Luna the target of her frustration and blame them for any mistakes made.

Luna, of course, does not make mistakes on purpose; in fact, they desperately want the approval of their sister, and perform to the best of their ability. Unfortunately, due to their anxious nature, Luna is prone to stuttering and getting cold feet while on stage. Though they've grown used to being berated by Soleil, each insult is still painful for them. Despite how cruel their sister is, Luna loves Soleil and wants nothing more than to please her.

Trivia

• Soleil is a French word meaning "sun". The name Luna means "moon". The pair have no known surname.
  • Soleil's name was originally going to be Celeste but then I thought it made the twins' name seem too similar to MLP's Princess Celestia and Princess Luna. lol
• Soleil dislikes when the center of attention is on Luna. Luna doesn't like it either, though, since they are very shy and used to Soleil speaking for both of them.
• Unlike Soleil, Luna is a very light sleeper. It doesn't help that their sister snores and drools as she sleeps.
• The twins are natrually ambidextrous, as most ettin are.
  • Being ambidextrous made learning to juggle much easier.
