Ternfall is one of MangroveClan's older hunters, and is mother to both the deputy and junior healer. Life has not been kind to her in her moons, but she has persevered - albeit not without being worn down to pessimism. While melancholic and quiet, she is a very loving molly, doting on anyone she cares about - namely her three kits, despite them being well into adulthood by now. She was among the first to follow Saltwortnose into the marshes when the main clan separated into two, already head over paws for the charismatic tom. They became mates, and, for a while, things seemed great. But over time, their relationship crumbled - perhaps Saltwortstar didn't even love her, considering he so callously cheated on her and had the gall to give his affair kit to her. Not that it was the kit's fault, no - in fact, she didn't hesitate to mother the little molly as well as her own kits. But....it made her realize the red flags she'd been sweeping aside for moons. After the kits grow up, Ternfall took him out of camp and ended their relationship - it was loud, messy, and there were many tears, but she felt lighter than she had in moons. When Saltwortstar perished by an alligator cycles later, she did not mourn. Only now is she pulling back into despair, her ex causing trouble from beyond the grave and one of her kits on the brink of death from another clan's claws. She's trying to hang on to the positives - she's a grandma now, how exciting! - but....she fears her family's lives are taking a turn for the worst again, and all she can do is watch as the Stars play with them like toys.....
