The Baller

The baller is a determined cat that can also be sneaky and easily frightened even if he doesn’t show it. He can be easily annoyed when Specs is bothering him or if something interferes with his goals. He absolutely loves baseball. He's the best at pitching and baseball always makes him a happy kitty.

One day a cat puppet was created in a workshop and was given life. He woke up confused of his surroundings. The cat puppet was kicked out of the workshop by the manager of the shop. The cat was called Mittens since his creator gave him a glove and thought it would be a cute name for the little guy. Now kicked out the cat’s mind conjured up a goal. He was gonna purify the world. He gets up and picks up the piece he had dropped when he fell. A bat, a hat, and his trust ball. He adjusted his hat as he looked at the sky for a moment, smiling as he was happy to be given life. He runs off into zone 1 helping out the Elsen out with their specter problems. He was always happy to help out them.

One day he was tasked to go into a store to defeat a trickster horned specter. He goes in like usual holding his ball in one paw and his bat in his next. He walks in and fights the specter defeating them but unlike the other specters this one didn’t disappear. The specter offered his services to The Baller and the cat accepted as he could use some help purifying the whole world. They shook on it. The specter (Specs) joined Mittens' party. During battles Specs would help or be a pain in Mitten's ass. Harming Mittens, stealing his items, and more. This would lead to plenty of fights. One day as he and Specs were taking a quick break. Mitten’s had asked Specs if he had a puppeteer like him. Specs told him no as he was confused, Mittens looked up to see his puppeteer but Mittens’ puppeteer was gone. Mittens panicked a little but calmed down until he noticed his tail wasn’t a tail anymore it was a specter “WHAT THE HELL! HUH!? SPECS WHAT DID YOU DO!!?” he pointed at Specs blaming him for it. Specs told him that had nothing to do with this and maybe if The Baller was paying attention he would have noticed his tail had changed days ago. The Baller became unnecessarily aggressive because of his fear and he fought Specs in a battle again. This time The Baller was shaking as he felt something corrupting his body. “CHILL THE FUCK OUT YOU CRAZY CAT!” The baller swung his bat at Specs but Specs had almost got hit as Mitten's eye turned pure white and bones stuck out. He swings again, this time missing him by a long shot. He became more corrupted as Specs started to fight back. This time specs had barely defeated him as The Baller kept hitting the wrong target. Mittens had become normal with the specter as his tail and he felt dizzy. “Never do that again your crazy son of a-“ Mittens cuts him off as he apologizes and doesn’t know what had gotten him to be an evil creature. Specs accepted his apology and the two went back to their normal purifying the world.

One day well relaxing a Elsen told the duo about a specter haunting the theater ad was scaring others so Mittens and Specs went to face it when they got there Mitten’s kept trying to attack him but the specter kept disappearing and reappearing behind Mittens scaring him half to death. The specter told him he doesn’t wanna fight the two and rather be their friends. Mittens didn’t want to but his tail and Specs convinced him. He thought the specter (Presto) was gonna be annoying but Presto did what he said and was actually being helpful. Sometimes he would get annoyed with Presto but noticed Specs was trying to make the old specter mess with him.

Mittens and Specs are still trying to purify the world as the tail has joined their party just giving them commentary. Mittens’ has to deal with it as there is nothing to get rid of it as he has tried to chase it, hit it, and more but it doesn’t go away. Sometimes that corruption form will show but Specs stops it with a nice slap to that poor kitty’s face.

He likes Specs. Once an enemy and abomination to The Baller to a best bud that he hangs out with all day and night. He enjoys Specs' company but does hate when Specs is a nuisance or a jerk with his dumb pranks that harm Mittens or stealing for poor Mittens. He knows Specs hated purification but he’s happy he doesn’t mind helping his goal get accomplished.

He likes Presto. Presto is nice and very helpful to the feline. He likes the magic tricks but sometimes it bothers him as he just wants his goal completed and magic tricks are a big destration.

HE’S SCARED OF THEM! He does become friends when he gets used to his tail after he tried defeating it so many times.

He likes his creator. He wants to know more about them and why he was made but he never gets the chance as he’s always on quests.

He likes the puppeteer when they are around. They watched and listened to Mittens' battles and such. He’s sad that they are gone.
