George's ability to raise the dead first came about when he resurrected Fluffy, his first-grade class's hamster, at the tender age of 7. He was looking into the newly-deceased rodent's cage when he has the urge to say something in "gibberish". The teachers thought nothing of it - they passed it off as a miscommunication between the teachers and students. But little Georgie knew the truth. As he grew older, he decided he wanted to experiment more and more with these powers and read more and more into his situation. By the time he finished school, he knew as much as anyone could know about the art of Necromancy (without giving away the fact that he practised it), and had given life back to almost 50 small animals, including his pet domestic gryphon, Chirpy.
George moved to New Lamourey for college and hails from Tenebrook, a small town in Michigan. He was recruited into WANDS at 20, after the team's leader, Daniel Terranova (Draco) saw him resurrect a pigeon that had been crushed by a moving vehicle. Seeing this as a chance to meet other necromancers and not feel so alone, George eagerly became an integral part of the WANDS team.
George is a winsome guy, who isn't afraid to say whatever comes to his mind and loves the attention. This can land him in hot water sometimes because what he has to say may not always be right, or helpful, or might just be downright mean. His ambitions are to show the world that necromancers like himself aren't all that bad.
