-as a kid he was a somewhat punk rock type emo kid, who played bass in a mediocre highschool band

Timeline

-His mother walked out on him and his siblings when he was 6, leaving him, his older brother and his younger sister with their father, who was very absent in their lives

-At age 16, his older brother died from suicide, which he is convinced was actually a murder. This caused him to become very closed off from the people around him.

-At age 18 he joined the military, he couldn’t see himself as someone who was working a normal 9-5 and wanted to get far away from his home life.

-He quickly rose up in ranks and became a sniper for a special task force

-Around age 22 during a mission with his squad, him and a few of his squad mates were captured after getting a false lead on info. During this time him and his squad mates were tortured for information. The rest of his squad mates died as a consequence, he was the only one who survived by the time help came for them.

-Started being called by his code name Fangs in the short period after he was rescued from being tortured and before he started wearing his mask because of the two gang like scars on his mouth

-When he was 26 he was specially requested to join SAS as a sniper under Lt. Price, where after the events of MW1 he was invited by Price to become a part of Task Force 141

-During a mission, Finn was sent with a small sized team and ended up becoming critically injured. Ghost was unable to cover for him and help get Finn and his team out of there so left with no choice Mikael is sent in instead. Mikael ends up having a severe PTSD episode but pushes through the mission wanting to make sure Finn was okay, but this didn’t occur without bloodshed. When reinforcements came they discovered Mikael surrounded by many bodies.

Relationships:

Finn’s Dad-Martin Hassett

-All the Hassett kids struggle with their relationship with their father.

-Elena tries her best to keep him in their lives much to the dismay of Finn who absolutely hates it.

-Finn had the most strained relationship with their father especially after Archie died.

-When he was in his teens he fought a lot more verbally with his father but now a days he just tends to try to keep quiet more for the sake of his nieces and nephew

Finn’s Mom-Beth Mainey

-Finn has basically no relationship with the woman

-Finn met up with the woman a few times in his adult years after his sister found their mother and contacted her, only because he knew it would make his sister happy

-They’re on okay terms, definitely nothing more than acquaintances though. Finn refused to have more than that with her.

Nieces & Nephew

-During time off he usually spends his time with his sister and her family. His nieces and nephew absolutely adore him even though he isn’t quite sure why

-most of his mail is from his nieces and nephew… mostly his nieces since his nephew can’t really write more than scribbles

-It’s mainly letters of his nieces asking when he is going to be coming to visit again

-He always makes sure to write back to them when he has the chance.

-He has a few of the kids drawings hung up around his room on base, along with a few family photos from over the years.

-He 100% spoils his nieces and nephew, always buying them new toys and gifts whenever he comes too visit.

Archie Hassett

-Finn and Archie were extremely close throughout their childhood and Archie’s sudden death hit him extremely hard.

-Finn and Archie were constantly with each other, Finn especially always looked up too his older brother

Elena Hassett

-Finn and Elena were always close, he always felt the need to protect her, especially after Archie died

-Elena makes him not wear his mask when he comes to visit.

-When Elena had her first daughter, Annie, Finn didn’t get too meet her until she was a few months old due to being stuck on a mission. He was really scared that he would scare the poor baby. Of course Elena was having none of it and made him watch her for awhile. He started crying when baby Annie was super curious and basically refused to leave his arms for the rest of the visit.

-He was very glad to be there visiting during Elena’s next two pregnancies. He tended to have the job of baby sister while Elena and Isaac were doing birthing things.

Mikael Eriksson

-Him letting Mikael feel his face in the dark because he feels insecure about that part of his face

-Mikael let’s finn see all of his scars, feeling too insecure to show them to anyone else

-Him and mikael wear each others first dog tags that has started to fade with time.

-After mikael finally meets finns family finn would buy a house, which in his mind is their house but he’d never really say it but more imply it JFHDJ and of course it would be in the irish countryside close to his family

-likes to get his back massages by mikael

John Price

-Finn and Price often go out drinking, or just end up being drinking buddies on base

-They never really get drunk, when they’re feeling a bit crazy they maybe get a bit tipsy. They both have a very high tolerance when it comes to alcohol

-Will occasionally share a cigar, but unlike Price, Finn only indulges in the habit around Price

-Finn and Price met when Finn joined SAS. Price quickly took Finn under his wing especially seeing how dedicated Finn was too his work. It also helped that the pair worked well together and more often than not they would be put together on missions.

Simon “Ghost” Riley

-Finn and Ghost have a mutual respect for each other, especially being the two mask wearing brooding men in 141

-Most of the time if they’re working together on missions they work in silence, maybe a bit of light banter here and there

Johnny “Soap” Mactavish

-Finn and Soap are decently close with each other. They share in the fact that that sometimes the others in 141 don’t understand what they’re saying because of their accents

-Talk quite a lot during missions together, well it’s more so Finn answering questions that Soap asks him

Kyle “Gaz” Garrick

-Finn met Gaz in less than fortunate circumstances. A terror attack in London that Finn, Price and the rest of Prices team was sent in for assistance, after that point Gaz officially joins Finn and Price on their team.

-At first Finn always kept a close eye on Gaz, he always did with new members of the team, trying to scope out how the new member adapts to such harsh environments they tended to get thrusted into

Alex Keller

-Finn and Alex met when Finn, Price, and Gaz were sent to help secure “The Wolf” in the United States Embassy in Urzikstan

-Finn has great respect for Alex, especially after he stood up for himself and decided to go back to Urzikstan against orders

Farah Karim

-Finn met Farah the same time that he had met Alex.

-Finn holds high praise for the woman, as a great Commander of her troops

Kate Lasewell

-Finn met Lasewell when he first was invited to join SAS

Nikolai

-Finn doesn’t really trust the guy but he knows Price does and he’s willing to take Prices word, especially if they have no other choice than to enlist Nikolai’s help

Phillip Graves

-Finn had always gotten strange vibes about Graves since they had first met but never expected him to betray their team like he had.

Task Force 141

-One time Finn (aka Elena made him) invited the whole of Task Force 141 to visit his family during one of their breaks from missions that they got every so often, many of the group were really confused when it came to seeing Finn acting so domestically and without wearing his mask. This would have been one of the few times that the main Task Force had ever seen Finn without his mask on
