Numinus

Numinous was derived in the 17th century from the Latin numen, meaning a "deity or spirit presiding over a thing or space." It describes the power or presence or realization of a divinity.

Numinus is the angel of canines. They are in charge of  guiding all deceased dogs into the afterlife, where each dog gets the choice of where they go and what they do with the rest of eternity. On special occasions, Numinus will grant the wish of reincarnation for those who wish to go back to the mortal realm and see their owners again.
