Someone who is dedicated to refreshing the memory of the dreamer.

He is a librarian who enjoys reading SUNNY/OMORI's memories, he has memorized several of his best moments, he knows many things about him and knows both the past and the present, he spends hours and hours reading memories, some not even the dreamer himself remembers .

He is someone lonely, since he does not usually receive visitors in the library, he is someone intense, he talks a lot when he is with others and he likes to talk about memories as if he had lived them himself, and sometimes it can become somewhat stressful for that very reason.

His black eye was caused by SOMETHING, who attacked TOSHOKAN upon appearing, leaving a mark that he cannot remove in his eye, (This is thinking that SUNNY has not been the same since the incident, that is why the permanent mark turns black his eye).

TOSHOKAN is the representation of a kind of consciousness of SUNNY/OMORI, which keeps and takes care of each one of the good moments lived by the dreamer.
