Personality
Mad has a lot of brain power that has nowhere to go besides into petty community drama, and breaking out of enclosures to settle scores. She likes to think of herself as level-headed and matronly, when actually she is incredibly neurotic and just has a lot of kids that have been taken from her.
History Madison was very disappointed when her long plane ride from who-knows-where to where-am-I landed her in a cattery. She may have been dissatisfied with most outcomes, as her mind was always racing and ready to chew on challenges, but there was really very little for a cat to do. The cattery had little to think about besides the interactions between the residents, and she was quickly engrossed in the gossip.
Her first partner was Chaz, a slightly older tom, who was, in her opinion, the most handsome one there. On her request, he romanced her properly, and agreed to be her mate with some pressing. She was satisfied to bear his litter, but enraged that her pregnancy resulted in him getting removed from the room she was kept in. She tried to escape and find him several times, frustrating and amusing her humans with her escape artistry. She heard from the other she-cats that her mate had gotten another pregnant. Madison attacked the other she-cat at the first opportunity.
This would happen on the regular, and she didn't consider Chaz blameless in his cheating on her either, so she would eventually be swayed to pursue whichever tom was put with her afterwards. When she'd forgive Chaz, she'd also forgive herself, and get it in her head that they were starting over, only to get disappointed again.
One of her sons with Chaz, Chad, was intended to be kept, but she didn't see him much at all once he'd been weaned. Word got back around to her eventually that he'd escaped with some wild cats.
