That moment when you used to be a level 20 paladin but your patron god (and the man who raised you) abandons you for someone more beneficial to his plans and strips you of your powers so you try and regain what you had through artificer methods. In an attempt to augment her abilities through technology, she tried to take out her own eye, but flinched and only ended up cutting through it. The world she's in works on a cycle where everyone's fates are predetermined, more or less. But Seraphim is an anomaly, meaning she has complete free will.

Seraphim is bitter, withdrawn, cold, socially-stunted, and completely determined to rise to power beyond what Pages (her ex-patron, and father figure) could ever have dreamed for her. He thought she wasn't worthy. He abandoned her in favour of someone who was a stranger to Seraphim. She would show him what a mistake that was. (Spoiler alert, dear god Seraphim stop causing more and more problems what the hell Pages still cares about you)

She destroyed her home town in a last-ditch effort to use her paladin abilities to cause enough of an anomalous effect on the world that it would screw over Pages' plans.

Relationships / Dynamics with other characters:

(Oh, dear. It seems they have slipped from your memory.) ??? (???, they/them, NPC) - Her ???, though Seraphim ran off without warning two years ago. Things are... rocky between them, to say the least.  ??? still loves Seraphim. but Seraphim doesn't realise this and doesn't feel deserving. ??? is the one thing Seraphim feels guilt over. (Why is there a band on your ring finger, Seraphim? Who could have possibly given that to you?)
[ Haily was a rabbitfolk bard, and the fiance of Seraphim. They were killed by a false hydra, and all memories of them have been wiped away. Seraphim feels their absence, but doesn't know why.]

Elias (kitsune(?), he/they, PC) - At first, hatred. Blind hatred, because this was the person that Pages replaced her with. But, now, after everything that has happened... she feels apathetic. Some days, she even considers him a friend– or family. They are technically both Pages' children, after all.

Bailey ( tabarkxi, he/him, PC) - Seraphim is warmer towards Bailey than the rest of the party... but has discovered that they grew up in the same hometown... the hometown that Seraphim destroyed in a last-ditch effort to use her Paladin abilities.

Design notes:

- There is a scar below her left eye, and the eye itself has a small indent in it.
