Having had a relatively normal childhood, Nova's life took an unexpected turn when he suddenly manifested magical powers and the ability to perceive supernatural beings and events, seemingly out of nowhere. Confused and curious about how this happened, Nova's personal goal now is to figure out what's going on, how to maneuver in this new reality, and ultimately make the best of his new life as a mage, all the while trying to reconcile his magical and mundane lifestyles, too!
