By definition a “hobbyist” is a person who pursues a particular hobby, however Orion has proclaimed himself the Ultimate Hobbyist due to the big and diverse amount of hobbies he has acquired through his life. Even if he doesn’t pursue all of them at the same time, nor currently given the situation, he has definitely gained a great set of skills from all and is always on the lookout for new hobbies, even during such hard times.   The level of skill he has in each hobby is different, yet he’s at least proficient at most of them and he’d consider him almost an expert in a few.

The first impression Orion might give people is that of a relaxed guy who’s very easy to get along with. He might be the first one to approach you to talk but won’t push boundaries, and can adapt to different types of people’s energy levels. He enjoys spending time taking part in his hobbies or just chatting and he isn’t one to react too brashly to provocation unless it’s persistent.
Orion has always been and continues to be a person with a great curiosity for new things, if presented with something he doesn’t know a lot about he’d be eager to know more. For activities, he definitely likes to experiment with things he hadn’t tried before at least once, he just loves to keep expanding his repertoire of abilities and hobbies. This wide list of interests all through his life has helped him become rather skillful in many things, even if not a master of all of them he’s definitely someone who knows what he’s doing. If he’s really interested in the activity he also can learn quite fast. As such, he’s also pretty reliable, if you need something he can do he will get it done pretty effectively! He’s pretty confident in his skills and also shows confidence in himself in general. It definitely took him a while to get to where he is now, but he feels proud of his current self.
He has always liked a bit of competition in his life, and when he feels he’s good at something he wouldn’t take down a challenge to show off against someone. He does aim to win, but he isn’t a sore loser if he doesn’t. He will, however, want a rematch at some point in the future, the record isn’t settled just after the first competition!
As good as he might be, he isn’t perfect, though he tries not to let his bad traits be seen as much. Having been allowed to do pretty much anything he wanted from a young age and granted many of his wishes, you could say he has become a bit spoiled. While he doesn’t throw tantrums not getting what he wants, he will try to insist on getting it, and if consistently denied he will remain grouchy for a while. He’d try to act as if he isn’t upset if asked, but he most definitely would get more easily annoyed and might have less-than-chill responses.
When he’s not doing anything he considers fun or interesting he can get very impatient, tasks that drag on for too long, having to be in complete silence, those are a few things that will make him start to get antsy, prompting him to sigh a lot and get very easily distracted by his thoughts or anything that’s more interesting than what’s happening.
In general, Orion could be considered directionless. He doesn’t have a set goal for life, nor knows what he’d like to do. He tries a bit of everything and has a lot of hobbies, but there’s nothing that’s “his thing”. To this day, he continues being unsure of what he wants, but instead tries to try anything he feels like doing in the moment. Maybe one day he’ll know what he’s meant to do. Add to that the fact that he can have a bit of a hard time making choices for some things, if you asked him what his favorite hobby is he most likely wouldn’t be able to choose one, if he had to choose between two things and had to stick with it he’d need some time to think about the pros and cons of each. Luckily, this doesn’t apply to everything, his indecisiveness affects more trivial things most of the time and he might eventually reach a decision even if it takes him a while. For more rushed situations, he may force himself to make a choice he might not be sure about, especially if he feels pressured.

Likes:
Seashells
Even though his sister is more of a seashell collector than he is, he thinks they’re very pretty and likes to bring the prettiest one he finds to her.
Trying out new things
One of his most characteristic traits is how he’s always on the lookout to trying new things, especially activities.
Running
When it comes to physical activities, running is the one he enjoys the most. He likes to run around places that have nice views, and if he has good company even better.
Relaxing around nature
Even an active guy like Orion enjoys time relaxing, as long as there’s something to enjoy. Nature is one of those things that manage to excite him even when he’s not doing much, there’s always something interesting to see or hear.
Making and customizing clothes
Ever since he learned to make his own clothes and customize them sewing became one of his favorite pastimes. He started to buy less and make more.

Dislikes:
Irascible people
While relaxed a lot of the time, he can’t really tolerate people who get angry easily and only bring negativity to the conversation. He’d rather avoid them than risk ruining his mood.
Not doing anything
When there’s nothing interesting around and he has nothing to do, those are the worst moments for him. He hates being idle and bored, and needs at least something to entertain him.
Being pressured or nagged
He hasn’t been ordered around that often, and he’s not very used to nagging, so feeling pressured or being nagged ruins his mood rather fast.
Jelly (Gelatin)
There’s not much to say aside that he doesn’t really like it. He can’t pinpoint why but he’d usually reply it’s the flavor regardless of what flavor it actually is.
Littering
He doesn’t understand why people litter and it upsets him to see streets or beaches with trash.

Extras:

Can make pretty decent latte art.
Very good at different card shuffling techniques! He practiced a lot with video tutorials.
Is pretty decent at fishing, but he tends to get bored if he doesn’t have anyone to chat with while doing so.
