Run out of her own village for Sivre's out of control powers, Nireli was forced to leave Sivre in front of an orphanage as a baby, where he grew up most of his childhood.
The two met again, Sivre unknowing that Fortune Teller was his mother, as she told him of his fate to become Mad God, and nearly destroy Tamriel. (Inspired by this song: https://youtu.be/2p50G5xyZ4s)
The two meet only once more, years later, shortly before Sivre and Valas' war, and FT tells Sivre he will die upon his throne. Angered by her words, he attacks her and pulls her hood off her head. Only while she is dying does he realize he killed his own mother.
