Story STC
Lived in S Corp's fishing hamlet, working as a fixer to maintain the district's safety. Witnessing the incompetence of the local Deichgraf (authority) he continued to put his ambition on hold to care instead for his dying father. However, once he finally got the position of Deichgraf, the Great Lake flooded due to the appearance of an Abnormality/distortion and his family was swallowed by the water.
He rode into the water with grief, distorting into Der Schimmelreiter, and caused massive collateral damage in his distorted state. Although he survived and was recovered, he may be able to partially distort at will if something reminds him of his great grief and he's in the presence of something altering like the golden bough or library.
