Summary

Acacia was born in Wanaka, New Zealand to Robin and Sylvia Birch and was homeschooled in her forest home with her older sister Manuka. Despite working hard every day, she always struggled with schoolwork, something her sister excelled in. Numbers just didn’t make sense! Manuka would try and teach her but always got exasperated when she didn’t get it and eventually gave up on trying.

If there was one thing Acacia was good at though, it was gardening and taking care of trees. She could identify every tree in her local area without much issue. Her parents made sure she had an appreciation for nature and appreciate it she did. If anything she hyperfixated on it. That’s when she found out about tree wardens. People in the UK who restored habitats and taught others about the wonders of trees. Her dream job! But the issue is… She’d have to move to the UK.

Acacia was apprehensive about this decision until she found the campaigns of Ffion-Ellen Hughes, who lived somewhere in Wales. All of a sudden, she was OBSESSED. This was her new favorite person, and you’d better believe she got parasocial about it. She knew she had to move to Wales, even if just to have a chance of meeting her. Plus, it meant she could live out her dream of being a tree warden!

As it turns out, Acacia was very good at the whole tree warden thing. So much so that she became an ultimate. Soon, she got a message from Manuka. What could she say, a congratulations perhaps? No. In fact her jealousy caused her to cut her off entirely. How could her stupid little sister be an ultimate and not her, who is actually good at school stuff? Absolutely disgraceful!
