Matteo was human before becoming a spiritus-oris. Despite the changes, he doesn't feel any different: he still can't have dairy, is overly-blunt, and can't lie his way out of a paper bag. If anything did change, it was a new adversion to wearing closed-toe shoes. Physically however, there have been undeniable changes. When stressed, angry, or suprised, the fur on his tail bristles. His ears can twitch. And sometimes - whether on purpose or by accident, he kneads things with his back feet. Blanket? Pillow? One of his boyfriends? It's all fair game: just watch for the nails -

Subheader: Relationships

Not many people make it to the 'friend' stage; not many are willing to, and Matteo certainly doesn't make it any easier. He doesn't care for small talk and has condensed 'hello', 'goodbye', 'go away', 'go on', and everything in bewteen into a single grunt. Seemingly quiet and uninterested, what comes out of his mouth is often acerbic and at odds with his intentions. In a team, he has high expectations of those around him. When these expectations aren't met, he's not shy about it letting his thoughts be known - though because he holds himself to a standard just as high if not higher, the commentary is always fair if not difficult to swallow. Due to this, he's recieved well for sports and objective matters such as research.

Never having thought much about his sexuality, even with two male partners, Matteo would not consider himself 'gay' - it just so happened that he was unfortunately attracted to 'both their freak faces'. Around them, his words remain the same but his tone is fonder. Where he lacks verbally, he shows affection through his actions and in small gifts. With [TBN], they trade jabs and rough affection, but with [TBN], Matteo often struggles due to their more anxious nature.
