Profile

“Funny little fellow.”

Nicknames: Rooster, Roo

Backstory: Rooster was born in a barn as an only child. His father was Hay and his mother Ace.

He grew into adolescence on the farm and was all content until one day, an older tom who had an odd name, Pumpkinpaw, stumbled over the threshhold of the barn, asking for some food. Rooster questioned him about his origins and his name, and Pumpkinpaw explained the clans and how names worked. Rooster asked Pumpkinpaw why he was still a ‘paw, Pumpkinpaw explained that he left ShadowClan at a young age after seeing the brutalities of Dawnstar.

Despite the warnings from both his parents and Pumpkinpaw, Rooster was instantly hooked on the idea of a clan, and would often go on long rambles through the fields just so he could peek through the fence and get a tiny glimpse of the wild forests and the cats who made them their home.

After living with Rooster and his family for about a moon, Pumpkinpaw left them to go find his own home. And, that same night, under the cover of darkness, Rooster made off into the night, his mind set on becoming a Warrior cat.

Rooster ended up on ThunderClan territory first, and he was approached by Dogbark, the deputy under Aspenstar, who decided to let Rooster join as an apprentice. Thus, Rooster became Roosterpaw, and he was officially a clan cat.

Roosterpaw excelled in his training, and (despite some hiccups where he would discard a mouse trail to have a one-sided conversation with a grasshopper) became a Warrior at the young age of 14 moons.

Now Roosterflame has been a warrior for a while and he’s loving every moment.

Personality: Roosterflame is a former barn cat, so he has a more lax outlook on loners and kittypets, and he often goes out of his way to have a chat with them over the border. Roosterflame is a little strange in the fact that he often can be seen having one-sided conversations with bugs or other harmless animals when he should be hunting them. Despite his oddness, he is a very well-rounded tom, he can fight expertly despite his youngness, and his hunting is also slightly above average. Another little quirk he has is that he has an interesting capability for smelling when a rain is on the horizon. He is fiercely loyal to the clan that took him in, and he’d do anything to protect it, even lay down his life. He befriends cats easily, and will often invite cats who seem to be outcasts to share a meal with him.

(Deputy application with some fun little “trivia” information about him.)
