Tanabe had a normal childhood like any kid, nothing really special happened until she finally got her quirk. She was born with her tail but she had limited mobility with it, though with age she gained more control. She was always the quiet kid who kept to herself and stayed out of other's buisness but was quick to remind someone of their place. Once her quirk manifested she had troubles keeping it from going off, she found out the hard way what her impact bombs were but thankfully they didnt have much kick to them at a young age. By the time she was twelve she had a better understanding of her quirk. Her father owned a small shop a few blocks away that she would stop by and visit after school... Until one day it was wiped out. A villain attack that wiped out half the block and had taken innocent lives, thankfully her father had survived but barely. The attack left him in a coma for 5 years until the family made the decision to take him off life support, as sad as it was Tanabe understood why that choice was made. Since then it has just been the three of them, Herself, her mother and older brother. Life continued as normal after the funeral. Tanabe as well as her brother applied for U.A high in hopes to become Pro Heros, and they succeeded. Now into adulthood she rented a small cozy apartment, sure she could afford a house but what was the point? It would only house one person and a cat. Yes a cat, a little calico named Vye (v-i-ee). Throughout her life things had been eventful being a Pro, from learning to run her own agency to taking down villains. She became well aquanted with the other Pro Heros, becoming friends with Mt. Lady and a few others, all was going pretty well for a while. Things changed one day, after taking out yet another villain who thought they would get away with robbery she had the realization that she wasnt enjoying being a hero anymore. The paparazi, all the money she didnt need, the fame, the interviews and the papers... She got tired of the constant fight to live a normal life while continuing to do good in the world. She continued her Heroisim as usual trying to ignore what she was thinking that day, maybe it was just exhaustion from the lack of sleep. Things got tough as time went on, her plants went without sun or water and she had asked a friend to take care of Vye for a while. Neglecting her agency she decided to shut it down, and even sold the lot. She started letting criminals who had comitted petty crimes such as small theft off the hook. It's not like she went rogue but she wasnt quite the hero she was anymore. Her rank dropped, and the Hero Comissoions office flagged her file. Things were spiraling down and she didnt care to fix them. A friend stopped at her place one day to check in on her, wondering if they needed to take the cat again for abit while she sorted things out only to find the door left open and not a living soul inside. She dissapeared. Fell off the face of the earth. Her whereabouts were never revealed but there has been reports of sightings around the city. Of corse she took Vye along, she couldnt leave the sweet thing behind.
Quirk: Shockwave. Although her appearance suggests her abilities are different she can send shockwaves using her hands, feet, tail and shock bombs on her head. This quirk would be perfect for defence should she master her techniques and ability.
The bulbs on her head are detachable Shock wave bombs that she can detonate from a far distance. The radius of the blast is 300 for a single one. She can remove both and set them in separate areas and detonate them at the same time or separate times. After they have been detonated the fragments return to her head, resuming the original shape. Unfortunately after being used it could take weeks for them to fully recharge, so they would be considered useful for more desperate situations.
The side effects of using this technique is headaches, drowsiness and dizziness. This technique also uses up quite a-bit of energy, so she keeps energy bars in her sleeve pouch on her hero costume.
Impactis can use her fists to create more concentrated blows when fighting, though not as strong as her tail or ShockBombs. She can use her fists and palms for close combat, Shockwave through her hands is strong enough to break bones if concentrated further, but not strong enough to create a big enough gap between her and the enemy. She can use this technique to knock out the enemy should she grab the back of their head to safely use it without causing it to be fatal, just some whiplash
Impactis can use her quirk through her feet, if she can time her steps perfectly she can use shockwave to act as a booster using smaller waves that keeps the radius around her feet should she need to run. She can also use her feet to stomp out shockwaves in specific directions, though sending them falters her balance. She can also use this method in close combat similar to her hands.
She can slap the end of her tail to the ground to create a powerful shockwave, sending enemies back to create distance from herself if needed. She can also dial back the strength and use the recoil to propel herself into the air. She does have the option to use her tail to attack directly but she prefers to use it as a defence skill instead. The harder the slap the bigger the radius and vice versa. She also uses her tail to hold onto things for support and to carry things her arms would be too full to.
The side effect of this method is spinal and neck aches.
