Minnie first became tiny when she tried a shrinking spell on herself when she was younger so she could fit in her model train set. She couldn't reverse it because she was new to magic and didn't know how. She probably knows how to reverse it now that shes older, but being tiny grew on her and she likes to stay like that.
she has a small apartment, pretty much just a kitchen, a living room w/ a foldout couch-bed, a bookshelf, bathroom, etc. but the living room is predominated by a massive table with her model train set and a dollhouse, which is her REAL home now. Her apartment is gathering dust but her dollhouse is neatly cleaned.
Her girlfriend helps her turn on / off the apartment lights because she can fly, Minnie and her girlfriend will also go on long treks to the kitchen to retrieve water in thimbles to use for cooking, drinking and bathing.
