ology

    Ology existed in the passage of time and shifts in temperature, in a subtle breeze or sense of unease lingering in an empty field. With no neurons to spark a synapse, no flesh to taste heat and pain - ology existed only liminally. But there was a sense of desire - its label as such, a sensation, a want, was barely tangible - but there existed a drive, like the anticipation of a storm, for something more. By some force, ology tore through - built up molecule by molecule, they created a body. They remember little of their previous life.
