Jesse Hudson's Links
Cherry is one of the only people (or perhaps *the* only person) Jesse feels even vaguely comfortable occasionally talking about his emotions and worries to.
There’s definitely a tenderness between them— Cherry has a big soft spot for him. Jesse has no interest in her romantically though.
Cherry usually has a distaste and lack of patience for most men, but Jesse and the other members of Dead Celebrities are a major outlier.
While she’s often the go-to person her friends seek for criticism or for advice, she doesn’t often give their troubles much mind outside of those interactions—except Jesse, who she finds herself worrying about more often in her spare time than she’d ordinarily like to admit.
Jesse isn’t aware Nico exists (and their stories are separate, anyway). That said, he’d be pretty flattered to know he had such a big fan.
Nico is really, really into Jesse’s band Dead Celebrities. It’s probably one of his top favorites.
Doesn’t have much of an opinion. Thinks Riot’s music is solid, but wouldn’t really go out of his way to listen to it. Jesse’s a little too serious for Riot’s tastes.
Riot and Jesse don’t really *know* each other per se, but they’ve crossed paths a couple times. They’ve played at the same venues/music festivals before. Riot’s a little too hyper for Jesse, anyway.
Jesse’s is Wiley’s friend and his bandmate. Has accepted he’s not getting his twenty bucks back.
Wiley is Jesse’s friend and bandmate. He owes Jesse twenty bucks.
Jesse and Donnie have been friends since they were kids, longer than anyone else in the band. Jesse has a bit of a soft spot for Donnie— regardless of how pissed off Jesse gets at the world, Donnie’s earnest and sweet demeanor makes it hard to stay truly mad at it for long.

Donnie has a little bit of an unrequited crush on Jesse, but doesn’t realize it’s a crush yet.
Jesse and Eddie are bandmates. They met in high school yearbook/journalism class and became friends after being paired up for an assignment.

Jesse doesn’t know how to feel about Jude, really. He feels every emotion in the book about him— aggravation, fascination, admiration. He finds Jude a really… interesting guy, and feels compelled to try and understand what makes him tick. He doesn’t really know why Jude takes up so much of his mental real estate.
Jude is incredibly curious about Jesse, and thinks Jesse has a really unique gift for music. Jude’s actually quite jealous, but he’s decided for himself that if he can’t *be* as skilled as Jesse, he’s going to make it his mission to get as close to Jesse as possible— to convince him that they should join forces, and make some sweet music together.
