Overview

Loud, bombastic, and larger than life, even in his car form Kit stands out amongst the sea of other vehicles. After suddenly gaining sentience thanks to a government AI that ran rogue and spread among cars in the middle of a race, and causing his rookie driver, Rex, to get into an accident and go blind in one eye, he's made it his life's mission to help him win every race in the upcoming season.

The public is unaware of Kit aiding Rex during races by fine-tuning his movements and turns, since the man is blind in one eye. He loves showing off during races, and when he's in human form, pretending to be Rex's friend, he's constantly getting into trouble or running around trying to learn everything about humans and their world. He's very friendly and a social butterfly, but in high-stakes situations he often shuts down and has a hard time snapping back to his senses.

Due to being the AI of a car, Kit doesn't really behave or think like a human. He often (intentionally or unintentionally) makes car sounds when he's startled or upset. He can purr too, although it's more like a deep engine rumble than an actual animal-like purr. Kit "doesn't agree with clothes" and if it was up to him, he'd be consantly naked in his android form (but Rex usually begs him to wear pants at least).

Communication skills

He's very extroverted and loves talking to people, doesn't matter if it's small talk about the weather, or deep conversations about the world (which he doesn't really understand, but he's still very happy to talk about). Despite not being familiar with many man-made objects, places, basic geography, or what a "cup" even is, he will happily ramble about anything for hours, convinced that he's right, even if he's speaking complete nonsense. He has a transatlantic accent! When he's stressed or angry his voice glitches out, stutters and jumps around in pitch.

Showing affection

Kit is very clingy and affectionate!! Although Rex doesn't like to be touched at all, Kit will stare at him with big, teary puppy eyes and heartbreaking little whimpers and sniffles until the man eventually gives in. He loves being scratched below his chin (will purr a lot..) and even though he's 200cms (6'7) and can throw a bus with one arm, he's very shy about asking for affection and gets flustered super easily.
