IDEA (= Independent Digital Erratic Algorithm)

Physical manifestation of a malicious software

Created by mysterious and unknown people, Idea is a computer worm/virus that suddenly came to life. Its main purpose was to duplicate, spread through emails and files and do harm to a computer by, for example, deleting or corrupting files and leaking information.

After coming to life and taking on a dragon-like form the malware escaped from its creators. It still had the ability to enter computers and bypass passwords and security, but now that it had a will of its own, it started doing less malicious pranks instead of what it was created for. It is curious about human life and still struggles to understand morals. Sometimes it might go too far with its pranks, as it doesn't know it's doing something wrong.

Idea met Ithel in the past and was fascinated by the robot. Its first instinct was to infect and take it over, but it changed its mind and decided to help it instead. Idea is the one who named the robot. It doesn't really care about Ithel anymore but checks up on it every now and then just out of curiosity. Idea dislikes Virtua, as it thinks entertaining humans to get their attention is stupid.

While inside a computer in its data form, Idea can duplicate as many times as it likes. It can leave the clones behind inside the computer when it leaves. Its limbs can also change shape, and if they’re cut off or damaged, they’ll grow back in minutes. While in the physical world, there is a semi-transparent barrier around Idea's core, the pink/blue diamond. This diamond acts as its brain as well as the essence of its being. Should the diamond be removed, Idea's physical form will disappear.

Neither color scheme is preferred over the other one, always has only one eye. When it is inactive (sleeping, fainted) all its colors lose saturation and become gray. Wings are not actually attached to its body, they hover just next to it. They do allow Idea to glide. When in the physical world it must be drawn with a light blue barrier over the core.
