About
Born and raised in Altan, most of his life was dedicated to monster hunting and helping others. Nowadays he’s no longer going on expeditions or leave the city too often, he spends most of his time on training rookies and helping people inside the city.

Avoids any type of physical conflict with other people, he believes it’s a waste of time and doesn't bring any benefits to both sides of the disagreement.
Combat
Despite Qanniks tough build he’s rather quick in his moves, he’s not as mobile as he was in his 30s but still his ability to move around quickly might surprise some people. Rather than on physical strength he relies on his experience. He’s not weak either but his strength pretty average, he’s definitely too old for fighting and all this crazy stuff. One of the things that makes his life harder is his missing finger in left hand (his dominant one) because of that he sometimes has a hard time grabbing things quickly in stressful situations.

Qannik's personality is shaped by his environment and life experiences. He is a complex character with a rich inner life. He has his own set of values and beliefs that guide his actions and decisions, and he is not easily swayed by the opinions of others. He is a no-nonsense, practical person who values hard work, communication, and teamwork. He had to rely on these values as a monster hunter to survive and be a valuable member of his guild.
He is a skilled hunter and survivalist, having spent his entire life in the frozen wilderness. He is resourceful and practical, able to fashion tools and shelter from the materials he finds around him. Qannik can easily adapt to his environment and people surrounding him which allows him to fit into different scenarios very quickly.
Has high expectations from others, does not spare himself while working so he expects the same commitment from everyone else. He can be a little harsh when it comes to his students but it's only for their good.
Despite his unfriendly appearance he's pretty good at communicating what he thinks with other people. He learned at a young age how to resolve problems peacefully with a conversation.
When Qannik does open up sometimes, he can be surprisingly chatty and opinionated. He loves to regale anyone who will listen to stories of his expeditions in the wilderness and his encounters with monsters. He might not seem like a person who enjoys the company of others but to be honest he really likes talking to people and being listened to. Maybe he’s not the ideal conversation partner but just give him some time and you’ll find out that he’s not that bad after all and has some interesting things to say.
Despite his tough exterior, Qannik has a compassionate side. He is fiercely loyal to those he cares about, particularly his greatlynx, and he is willing to go to great lengths to protect them. He has a deep love and respect for the natural world, and he is passionate about preserving it for future generations.
