A bright, cheerful phuzo who grew up alongside May, their closest and most adored childhood friend. The two of them have always been inseparable; when May was slated to be sent off to a boarding school, far away from April, April hatched an incredibly optimistic plan for the two of them to run away to the circus together.

Clownery turned out to be April's calling. They love the influence they have over the audience, and most especially they lovebeing able to make people laugh and smile, whatever it takes. They engage with other sorts of performance as well -- theater, improv, and other shows included -- spending almost every waking hour of their life putting on a performance. Their most honest expressions of joy are reserved for May -- the one person who they don't have to wear a mask around.
