——————Personality——————

A shy young centaur, one not fully accustomed to life on the surface. Naomi has been mute by choice since birth, only talking few times to his father and mother. Despite the fact he knows English somewhat well, at least being able to have a short conversation, he finds it much to hard to pronounce and prefers that of his native sea-tongue. Naomi often keeps to himself, self isolating in times of stress or discomfort. He’s an incredibly crafty kid, surprisingly taking interest in blacksmithing and mechanics. The centaur is also quite resourceful, being able to make a weapon out of just about anything. He’s also rather trustworthy, and if you gain his respect he’ll do just about anything for you. Naomi is hardworking, and when they want to they can get almost any job done. He’s slightly emotional, being easy to cry.

 Despite this the squid-boy can be quite anti-social, often avoiding socialization as he finds it uncomfortable and extremely awkward. He can get highly nervous, and will often retreat from a conversation quickly. Yet, he can also be naive. Being from somewhere with entirely different ways of life, he’s quick to believe lies about English language, culture, and sayings, the ways of the surface causing him great distress and confusion. He is the type to hold a grudge for quite awhile, and it takes lots of effort to regain his trust. Naomi has bit of a petty side, as well as being aggressive when need be. He also has mood swings sometimes.

——————Appearance——————

He’s a young squid centaur, with dark blue skin. His upper face, shoulders, elbows, back of hands, and top of tentacles have a rather darker more vibrant blue on them. Inside these darker spots are freckles that glow in the dark. His stomach and under-tentacles are a lighter blue. Along his sides are gills. He has wide, green eyes made for taking in much light from the depths of the sea, although because of how bright the sun is to him, in the day you’ll see him with a blindfold. His mouth is placed on his neck, and when it’s open his head tilts back rather horrifically. He has thick, wavy black hair, which for some reason always appears to be wet, but feels dry to the touch. Wrapped around his arms is a long chain-weapon, similar to that of a meteor hammer, except the ends are armed with incredibly sharp hooks. Naomi carries himself in a rather small way, with a slouch and overall nervous posture. During the day he wears a hooded cloak to shelter from the sun’s heat, as well as hostile or confused looks from others.
