Growing up being pushed into excelling, Rook often felt alienated from his peers and struggled to make meaningful connections. Even now, he struggles to trust people and has put up a wall to keep people out. As an Aemone, Rook enjoys taking quiet time in abandoned chat-rooms to himself without the stress of other people.
Rook loves competition and feels best when someone’s on his level—even if he feels crushed when losing. He opens up more to those he shares interests with, either that be piano or chess. Some of his closest friends are members of his high school’s chess team.

• Considered a prodigy with most things he was trained in, including but not limited to: Chess, Classical Piano, and High Jump.
• Gets cold quite easily—even in at a room-temp, Rook will shiver.
• Finds most things hard to focus on—his parents suspect he has ADHD but he’s never been diagnosed.
• Subconsciously leans or bumps against people he enjoys being around.
• Tail will wag when excited/happy and twitch when annoyed/confused/angry.
• Because of the long fur on his tail, Rook takes a lot of care to brush it out (even carrying a brush along with him to competitions).
• Holds his tail when overwhelmed because the soft texture is calming to him.
• Rook is pretty much tormented by much of his classmate (one of the very reasons he began the process of having plasma injected). He avoids most physical attempts at ridicule but his peers do make fun of him straight to his face.
• People call him ‘Captcha’ because they find talking to him incredibly annoying and tedious to talk to.
