In her previous life, she was one of the many children of her garden's royalty. Unfortunately, she was snatched away by Asterium before she could ever become queen.
Despite this, Sunny is a very cheerful and laidback individual. She doesn't act any differently since being kidnapped and is always kind to her captors... Even if what they put her through is almost worse than death. Still, she doesn't seem to process what is going on is real in the first place.
Sunny was born to the sovereigns of her garden, alongside hundreds others. She never received special treatment due to the nature of faeries always being in some sort of high fever dream. She couldn't care less, for she was also in this dream.
At some point in her years, as her other siblings died out from varying causes, she became the heir to the throne. Her parents had grown old and frail, mostly due to overbreeding on their part. She took the role in stride, finding it to be a fun time. She often used her newly bestowed ability to make the other faeries play and hang out with her more often. She had countless years of fun until on a small ambassador trip to another faerie garden, she was kidnapped by Asterium.
Being kidnapped by Asterium wasn't all bad at first. They treated her kindly... until they started conducting experiments on her for unknown purposes. Eventually, she was handed off to Lucie to be researched further.
Sunny never really understood what was going on or why she had to do odd tests with Lucie, but she knew she was scared of the scientist. She started to pin everything as a fever dream caused by swallowing her own spit to compartmentalize feelings faeries weren't meant to experience. It worked well enough for she never cried. Her anxiety was higher than any other faeries had ever been, but how was she to know that? The faeries didn't even know she was gone. It was okay though, one day she would go home and have another party with her forced-friends.
Sunny met a parasite-infected human named Mik who she grew close to. It seemed after he had calmed down over her appearance, he would be calm around her. The scientists noted this and the two became roommates of sorts. Of course, this would be near the end of Asterium's experiments on either of them.
Butterflies weren't meant to be caged for longer than their metamorphosis.
Hallucinogenic Spit - Her spit has the capability of causing hallucinations. These typically are similar to acid trips rather than just typical sleep-deprived hallucinations.
Flight - She can fly, given her wings are unbound. She is quite speedy in flight but typically doesn't go fast. She is a very laid back flyer.
Mind Control - Given her role as a "queen" in her species, she can mind control most of her people. If another creature were to swallow her spit, she has the capability of controlling them for as long as it stays in their body. Typically, this never happens as who would drink her spit.
Has four eyes, both sharing the same iris.
She has no torso, the orange in that area being her spine. She is very fragile.
The wings on her head are ears.
Clothes DesignDoesn't particularly care for clothes. Wears them for what her captors call "modesty".
Also grippy socks are fun.
The white cloth wraps around her spine with a small belt. There is a similar hanging piece down her back.
Sunny's absolute best friend! She loves the fact that they're roommates. The parasite he has in his back also looks a little funny, reminding her of her own hallucinations.
A walking nightmare wasn't something Sunny had ever experienced until she met Lucie. The scientist is obsessed with her alien features and abilities. Sunny is still nice to her... somehow.
