Elizabeth (Lizzie)

One of my Deadlest Catch ocs (along with Jeans and Sunny).

Lizzie is captain of the specialty crab fishing vessel Lady Godiva,  its modifications making it safer and easier for her crew to fish  efficiently. For several fishing seasons, she comes out on top.

Exclusively She/her. Age late 40s. Trans woman. Not taking estrogen  (doesn’t give a shit after taking it for a while). Wears expensive  silver jewelry and a white polar bear fur coat - which she received  as a bribe (from Mikhail) to keep quiet about illegal Russian  fishing activities. Often wears a brown dress if it’s not too cold out,  otherwise will put on orange fisher’s coveralls with her coat over. 

She is elegant, cunning, and cool headed.  Through rough periods of self doubt and struggle, she comes out  stronger than any of the other captains in the Bering Strait. Incredibly  stern- but loyal to her crew. Jeans helps her through tough shit and is  one of her closest friends, as competitive as they are.

Her crew consists of two butch women, a gay guy, and a token cishet normcore guy.

Her relationship with Jeans is so normal (its not). They've been friends for a long time and trust each other with deep secrets, smoking and talking for hours at a time. Only recently has she come out to Jeans as a woman and he's still getting used to it. He also finds the whole situation incredibly hot.

Has  recently befriended Sunny, even though he is much younger, they relate  to each others Gender struggles and its hard to find people like that in  rural Alaska.
