The Mighty Pencil

Hello everybody! The Mighty Pencil is the name of the project I am testing out!

I am currently searching for characters for my RPG (which is being worked on by a team I love to death), and to aid the search, I am hoping to launch this self-growth project off the ground!

By self-growth, I mean I want to improve my writing across several subjects, and what better way than by helping people in the process?

Some people may not have a clue about what to write for their characters. Maybe lore's stumping them, or they can't give a clear bio. And that's okay! People may just be visual artists, but no good writers! That's where I come in! I'm no visual artist, but writing is my specialty!

Send me a list of characters, and if any catch my eye, I will blow you away with my passion for writing! This helps both of us, as you get a stronger build for your characters, and I get to improve my craft! From what I see, I will offer a range of four tiers that I see fitting for the character I am looking for.

Simple - Simplified important details, but not as short as what people think a simple bio looks like.

Moderate: Simple + a few details I think should be added on for whatever purpose necessary.

Semi-complex: Lists detailed personality, and a simple lore backstory, along with their sole purpose in the given background.

Complex: Lists detailed personality, various important events to connect to their lore (does not include spoilers unless requested), their sole purpose in their given background, and several miscellaneous facts and headcanons surrounding the characters listed that I am working off of.

If the character is very high quality and/or has a lot of art, I will offer more than one piece of writing.

This is mainly for my own improvement and the Mighty Pencil is only just beginning, so I don't expect to see exactly what I'm looking for in an instant.

Here is a template that you can follow, however it is not required, as long as I can understand all the key factors of what I am looking to see in your comments.

Characters that I am offering: (List the characters that you are willing to offer here.)

You are writing for: (The character you are looking for/A character I need assistance with). This is asking if I am going to write for the character I want, or a character of yours you want writing for.

After you send a comment, I will look over it and see if I am interested in the characters you are offering. If I am not interested, please do not be upset! I may like the character, I may just not know how to use them in the RPG!

If I am interested, I will give you an offer of what I am able to to do the character(s) I am interested in.

Once I have stated my interest in the offered characters and have given an offer, you are free to counteroffer! I want to satisfy what you are looking for, as long as it isn't going over what I am comfortable doing for your characters!

If you would like to see examples, please let me know! I only have complex examples at the current moment (because I have a tendency to write up a storm after getting a wildfire of ideas).

Please note that I may not get to your request immediately! This is because I still have pending submissions to finish up!

I do offer priority offers, however, but this is only to characters that I feel I may have a deep connection with. Priority means that your offer will bypass my pending offers/submissions, and yours will be one of the next ones to be completed.
