Pigment is a pegasus pony born in Buckbank who now lives on the outskirts of Ponyville, not far from the animal sanctuary. He lives in a small cottage on a large property, with many trees and a flourishing garden of food and flowers. He works as an elementary school teacher, and during the summer, he hosts a weekly art class at his home that he calls "Mr. Pigment's WonderGarden" for the young Ponyville inhabitants. Each week at the Wondergarden, Pigment guides school-age creatures through various explorations of art and science. Activities may include making pigments from flowers in his garden and discussing the science behind it, exploring different art mediums and techniques from throughout Equestria, group musical sessions, and more.

Although he has no cognizant roommates, he does live with his orange tabby cat Noodle, whom he considers to be his closest friend.

Pigment is kind, genuine, outgoing, and always authentic. He often has high energy, but that doesn't mean he never slows down! One of his favorite pastimes is relaxing in shady parts of his garden and listening to the gentle sounds of nature.

He loves his wings, and can almost always be found hovering at least a few inches off the ground. He is by no means any kind of athlete or speed demon, but to him, nothing beats the feeling of weightlessness and the air beneath his hooves.

FRIENDS

Crimson Forest - A kirin who runs the best bookstore and the worst bakery in town. He and Pigment have been close friends for years, through thick and thin.

Noodle - An incredibly sweet and loving orange cat with a heart to rival the world and a brain that couldn't square up against a pea.

FAMILY

Kiwi Rain - Pigment's older brother. Kiwi lives in Manehattan, where he owns and operates a small coffee shop with late-night open hours.
