Keren Brazier

Description

Keren has always wanted to rely on herself. When she was born, her father had already left the scene. Her mother Angelia had always been a rock for her to lean on and did her best to make Keren grow up with everything she needed. Keren always wanted to make sure her mother was doing okay, and, as soon as she could, earned money on the side, doing dishes at Restaurant Bittersweet. Keren was always complimented for her individuality and strong personality. 

Despite circumstances, Keren always seemed to be on top of things, but it did make her become avoidant of real relationship. Even though she had grown up to be the big sister of all the kids from the Bittersweet restaurant, she could never really attach to them. She was always busy with something else. The only real relationship she has had in her childhood was with her half-sister Katie, who fell into a similar situation as her. Keren made sure Katie did not have to work as hard as Keren thought she would have to by making sure the family earned enough money to get by.

Keren’s perseverance has gotten her far. She has climbed up the ladder, working as a mechanic at someone else’s business, but now owning her own garage at the border of Fargone, close to Solidar. She completed everything she wanted at the age of 24 at a turbo pace. And now, she did not know what to do with herself. Besides her work, she had never really put any effort into building her social circles. She only had the restaurant, but she felt detached from it all.

Now, Keren is trying to enjoy life a little more. Her tough, but kind personality makes her easy to be around. And even though her work is placed at number one, she is sure to take a little time off more and enjoy the things she has always wanted to enjoy. She also puts a lot of work into making the garage itself a more personal space, hiring an assistant that she thinks has a lot of potential, and sprucing up the place to chat with customers, and maybe make new friendships.

Keren loves to see others being creative and is a big fan of motivating others to push their limits. She is known for occasionally accidentally pushing people over their limits by sheer motivation. She loves to talk to others about her own interests and will gladly in exchange listen to others talk about theirs.

Abilities

Keren has no supernatural abilities. Keren has learned to not give up and stay optimistic and can portray this feeling well onto others. 

Keren is an expert mechanic and is able to fix up vehicles with the correct equipment.

Notable Comic Arcs:

• Far(from)Gone (Chaotic Rhyss! #113-134): A plotline where the hinted criminal activities in the industry sector of Fargone start back up. Factories are being used for smuggling and several traders have set up a plan together to hijack the entire city. Keren sets up a way for innocents to leave the city by opening up a shortcut out of the city, as well as using her vehicles to move people out.
• Chaos! Going Global! (Chaotic Rhyss! #520-#545): Malka’i relics that have been scattered all over the world have started to go beserk, making them appear as beasts. Keren fixes up an old bus for the Friend Force! & Co to drive around across the world.

Comic Notes (Can be expanded or retconned on whenever):

• Keren has her workshop and garage at the edge of Fargone, on the route to Solidar. Her workshop gets enough traffic to get by well, and has several regulars looking to pimp up their vehicles.
• In the Chaotic Rhyss! Series, she is often used as the older sister character, giving advice to the main cast.
• Keren hires Astra as an assistant. Astra was before only known as a character frequently drawn in backgrounds.
• Derek is always welcome to Keren's workshop to work on his own projects. She enjoys Derek's creativity.
• Her workshop is often used by the Friend Force! before they actually form as their base of operations, since most tools get build there. They eventually move their base to Derek's place.
