You are Cloud! The main hero of this story! You just joined the most successful monster hunting business around, the S.S.E.O.
Other monster hunters fight monsters physically, which is impossible, but the S.S.E.O. use a special portal to travel to something known the DREAMSCAPE, an alternate universe where they fight the spirits of the monsters, which is much easier than in the real world. (it kind of looks like you're up in the sky, and there's a bunch of glowing clouds everywhere, and they're different colored clouds!)
Anyway, you've always wanted to join the S.S.E.O. for a long time, ever since you were young. You were always inspired by how valiant and courageous they were to defeating monsters to save the country.
So at the minimum age requirement to join, you started your first day on the novice team, the rookie cookies.
(In the story I'm planning on making with this, you can choose your dialog options, you can either be a sweet baby boy, or sassy mother trucker òwó)
