Senja is caught up to endgame after four years! I don't have to live in fear of spoilers anymore~
Do you think Hydaelyn has ever considered take-backsies on some of her blessings? just in case some of her champions are a little less, erm... respectable than originally thought.
Don't get me wrong, Senja's pure of heart and as brave as they come, but maybe a Warrior of Light should only be allowed to make out with so many NPCs, y'know?

- Even for a Warrior of Light, Senja has an absolutely atrocious memory.
- Senja's eyesight is perfectly normal. She wears glasses just for the aesthetics.
- The magnitude of her heterochromia varies over time and is a good indicator of her mental wellbeing. In Heavensward, when her emotional stability is at its lowest, Senja's left eye is a significantly lighter grey than her right. By Shadowbringers, they've reached equilibrium.
- She was an edgelord in Heavensward and glamoured black wings on herself constantly.
- Senja's face paint stems from her history as a traveller and is an integral part of her identity. She's only been barefaced once—during her dinner with Aymeric.
Senja was born in a small travelling community that drifted between the Black Shroud and Gyr Abania with the seasons. Her mother, descended from the Veena, had left her homelands years before her daughter's arrival, making Eorzea the only home that Senja knew. Her childhood was spent in joy, dancing for locals and crafting traditional medicines and trinkets to sell.
When asked about Senja's absent father, her mother would always tease and say that Byregot himself descended from the heavens to impregnate her by taking the form of a giant spriggan (which was a detail that nobody needed to hear, thank you kindly). Only on her deathbed, when her daughter was preparing to leave the caravan and journey into the city-states proper, did she confess that Senja's father had been a (very mortal) blacksmith of some renown. She suggested that Senja take his last name, Blackthorn, hoping it would offer her some measure of protection.
- Senja begins her adventure by mastering both black and white magic before transitioning to red magic in Stormblood. Stabbing's just more fun, y'know?
- During actual gameplay, Senja mains as a dancer and a reaper.
- Canonically, Senja studies goldsmithing and mining. (In reality, I'm a completionist and need her to study everything.)
