Katie Rose Grace isn’t sure about much. After getting an education degree during the war, she had to find work fast or be forced to enlist. She settles by taking on a bizarre and secretive military contract. Reluctant to contribute to the fighting directly, at least she can feel somewhat impactful and patriotic in doing this, right?

It turns out that someone’s trying to grow a giant indestructible wolf person to be a military asset. While the technology is there to physically build one, no one has figured out how to hack brains yet, so they need someone to teach it how to read and how the world works. Enter Katie. As Kila’s teacher, she finds herself becoming increasingly attached to the “monster” they were supposed to be building, but in order to stand up for her she’ll have to stand up for herself first.

Katie is about 1.6 m (5' 3") tall and has medium-length brown hair with two distinct “spikes” on her right side. She has fairly square features and looks unintimidating overall.
